Ever since 2003 the Vienna based band PACHECO keeps blasting Ska, Reggae and Latino Rock music straight into the hearts and minds of their audiences!

Pacheco´s LIVE SHOWS are a celebration of life itself while the lyrics are a call for more solidarity among poeple as well as furious scream for more awareness facing the autodistructive tendencies of today´s global society.

Mostly in spanish, sometimes in english.

 

The athmosphere is resonating with the passionate tunes of the Marachi-Style brass section and Rafael´s unique deep voice as the band unleashes their ever euphoric and powerful energy that is the base of Pacheco´s music.

 

3x Frequency Festival, Sziget Festival, Alexanderplatz Open Air (Berlin), Arena Wien, just to count a few..

 

Untill today the romantic high-speed locos have released two albums,

"La madrugada" and "More than just a game", aswell as two single releases.

 

"Daddy llegó" is their homage to Vienna´s late Pop-Superstar Falco and his legendary "Der Kommissar", giving it a new sound and feeling by turning the 80s hit into a spanish ska song.

 

And second "La Situacion", where they teamed up with Vienna most notorious reggae band House of riddim.

 

Currently Pacheco are working hard on finishing their third album

"El Camino del Rebelde" that is planned to be released in autumn of 2025 with concerts at international venues.
